Montserrat Radio Echo listeners should take note that because of that, a number of segments that would have normally appeared on demand will not be available today on MRE.
“On this week’s episode of In The Hot Seat we had a panel discussion about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after natural disasters.
To shed some light on the issue and to highlight possible solutions to the issue our host Vernaire Bass sat down with a panel of experts, which included Ms. Jennifer Joseph, Dr. Gail-Ann Guy-Cupid, Dr. Stacey-Ann Nicely and Mr. Adegboyega Bamisile.
They covered the following topics during the discussion:
– What is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)?
– How does PTSD manifest itself?
– What causes PTSD?
– The Prevalence of PTSD from natural disasters.
– How can we help someone affected by PTSD following a natural disaster?”
